Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the Prizo service available at prizo.ai and prizo.com.pl. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

§1. Definitions

  • Service — the Prizo website at prizo.ai, prizo.com.pl, and their subdomains, plus the mobile app when released.
  • Provider — the operator of Prizo. Contact: hello@prizo.ai.
  • User — anyone using the service, whether signed in or not.
  • Subscriber — a User who has provided an email address to receive the newsletter.
  • Content — information about flyers, products, prices, categories, AI recommendations, and any other data displayed in the service.

§2. What Prizo is

Prizo is a free informational service that aggregates publicly available promotional flyers from Polish retail chains and presents them in a unified format. It additionally offers AI features: extracting offers from flyer scans, categorization, cross-retailer product recommendations, and email price-drop alerts.

§3. Informational nature of the service

All prices, product availability, and promotion validity periods are for informational purposes only. Prizo does not sell goods or services — it acts solely as an aggregator of third-party offer information. The binding price is the one shown by the store's register at checkout.

We make every effort to keep information current but are not liable for discrepancies between data in the service and actual store conditions. If you notice an error, let us know at hello@prizo.ai.

§4. Using the service

  • Use of informational features is free.
  • Newsletter signup is voluntary; unsubscribe with one click from any email footer.
  • Use of the service in a manner violating law, third-party rights, or accepted standards is prohibited (e.g., server overload attempts, unauthorized account access, mass data scraping in violation of these terms).
  • We reserve the right to limit or revoke access if these rules are violated.

§5. Newsletter and notifications

By signing up for the newsletter, you consent to receive emails containing: weekly summaries of the best deals, price alerts for products you watch, expiry warnings for promotions, and occasional product updates.

Marketing messages from partners (FMCG brands, retailers) are clearly labeled as sponsored and only sent if you opted in separately at signup.

§6. AI features

Some content in the service is generated by AI models (e.g., offer categorization, product recommendations, generated recipes). We label them accordingly. AI can make mistakes — treat its advice as guidance, not gospel.

Sponsored content is always clearly marked. Editorial recommendations (AI Picks) are free from advertiser influence.

§7. Intellectual property

The Prizo logo, source code, design, and editorial content are protected by copyright and belong to the Provider (unless otherwise marked).

Retailer brands, logos, and product images belong to their respective owners. We use them strictly for informational purposes under the "informational fair use" doctrine (Article 261 of Polish copyright law). If you're a brand owner and want to discuss representation, write to hello@prizo.ai.

§8. Liability

The Provider takes due care to ensure the service works correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:

  • differences between in-service information and store reality,
  • technical outages and errors caused by external factors,
  • third-party actions, including partner content.

The above does not waive or limit consumer rights under mandatory legal provisions.

§9. Complaints

Service-related complaints can be sent to hello@prizo.ai. Please describe the issue and preferred contact method. We respond within 14 days.

§10. Changes to terms

We may amend these Terms for important reasons (legal changes, service feature changes, vendor changes). Notification is via a banner on the homepage; Subscribers additionally receive a 14-day advance email notice. If you do not accept changes, you can unsubscribe with no consequences.

§11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are resolved by the court with jurisdiction over the Provider's seat, unless a consumer uses out-of-court dispute resolution (e.g., UOKiK, uokik.gov.pl).
